Amicon® Ultra Centrifugal Filter Devices

Fast and Easy Protein Concentration

Amicon® Ultra Centrifugal Filter devices offer rapid ultrafiltration, efficiently concentrating proteins from both dilute and complex sample matrices. With their vertical design and ample membrane surface area, these devices ensure quick sample processing, high sample recovery, and up to an 80-fold concentration increase.

The devices are offered with nominal molecular weight limits (NMWLs) of 3 kDa, 10 kDa, 30 kDa, 50 kDa, and 100 kDa in four different volumes:

Amicon® Stirred Cells

Ideal choice for large volume concentration needs

Amicon® Stirred Cells are perfect for separating macrosolutes like DNA, RNA, and proteins in large-volume samples ranging from 50 mL to 400 mL. They’re also great for membrane analysis, allowing users to insert membranes of their choice.

Designed for solutions with up to 10% macrosolute concentration, these stirred cells offer high flow rates, making concentration and salt removal quick and easy. Using pressurized ultrafiltration (pUF), they process large sample volumes rapidly for concentration, diafiltration, and buffer exchange. Gas pressure is directly applied for filtration, retaining solutes above the membrane’s nominal molecular weight cut-off (NMWCO) while allowing water and solutes below the cut-off to pass into the filtrate.

Available in three sizes (50 mL, 200 mL, and 400 mL)
